Yeah, maybe, you're all correct, but I still strongly believe that we were treated like his lab animals because he hasn't yet got a structured teaching style for the class because he's new. IE. He wasted a lot of time in the beginning trying to communicate to us through TAs and such about what he exactly wanted from us. And since most of us are already dealing with our poor competency in the C++ syntax we also had to waste time on trying to get answers from the prof and the TA. I don't think there is an excuse for this except that he was new and didn't know better so we got screwed along the way, maybe for the better for his future students.
