If i were you, i wouldn't give up yet. This class isn't exactly the norm for CS, and you've been making pretty decent grades so far. A CS degree far surpasses any IT degree you could get, anyway. If you're really getting discouraged, you might consider switching to a BA instead of a BS, if that's currently your major - there's not that much difference once you get into the real world. I'm not a great code monkey either - since I have management experience I'll probably end up as an IT director or factory automation guru, which is just fine.
As for the lack of internships, I didn't get any nibbles, either, and I have six years of experience in failure analysis at TI, Hitachi, and Samsung, and lots of contacts at AMD, Motorola, etc. There just weren't many internships available due to the lagging economy.
So keep at it - there's really not that much farther to go, and once you survive this class -
Then will he strip his sleeve, and show his scars
And say, "These wounds I had on Crispin's Day."
Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages,
What feats he did that day....
And gentlemen in England, now abed,
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here
And hold their manhoods cheap, whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's Day.
